What exactly does Maprios do for churches?

Maprios is a workflow automation company. We streamline your current processes by reducing the amount of manual input required to complete tasks.


Suppose the current Donation Tracking workflow task is as follows:

1. Generate a donation receipt

2. Send a thank-you message to the giving partner

3. Record the donation summary in our donor management platform

4. Send the required information to the Accounting team


The Maprios automation could "trigger" after the donation receipt is created and execute steps #2 to #4 without any additional manual input.

Which ChMS platforms do you work with (Planning Center, Tithe.ly, Shelby, etc.)?

We work with all ChMS platforms. If we cannot automate the platform you requested, we will let you know as soon as possible before you pay. We perform an initial online assessment to determine feasibility and any technical barriers; if a platform cannot be automated, we will be transparent about the reasons and next steps.

What kinds of tasks and workflows can you automate for our church?

Maprios can automate tasks for church operations and ministry, including: donor and donation tracking, volunteer scheduling and communication, event registration and follow-up, attendance reporting, internal notifications, and basic accounting handoffs.


We always design automations to preserve human oversight where needed — automations reduce manual work but do not remove necessary human agency or pastoral judgment. Many organizations begin with one of our Quick Win templates to get fast value and then expand to custom automations.

Do we have to switch ChMS or software vendors to work with Maprios?

Absolutely not! You retain and continue to use your existing ChMS and other software tools. Our goal is to make your existing software investments serve your needs even better through cross-platform automation.

How do you handle data privacy, permissions, and security inside our systems?

Maprios uses AES-256 end-to-end encryption to protect data in our backend and to protect data transfers between your platforms and our backend. If credentials are needed for any automation, you will enter these credentials in a secure vault (or similar system) that automatically encrypts the credentials you enter before sending them to Maprios.

How long does it take to see results?

The time it takes to see tangible results depends on the workflow complexity and the number of platforms involved in the workflow execution. An automated workflow can take as little as two weeks to build (once the workflow automation has been finalized); user acceptance testing can be completed in two to four weeks. After signing a statement of work, it is reasonable to expect tangible results in about thirty (30) days.

What does it cost, and how do you decide which tier is the right fit?

Maprios offers multiple service tiers to fit your unique needs. Your financial investment depends on the number of platform integrations, the complexity of the automation, and the degree of customization you request.


Quick Win, $2,750: you select one (1) workflow automation from our catalog of predefined workflow automations that feature up to four (4) of the most common platforms integrations --e.g., Planning Center, Gmail, Website, Tithe.ly-- and we tailor it for your use (minimal customization).


Starter Milestone, $2,000: one (1) custom workflow automation with up to two (2) platform integrations and minimal customization.


Standard Milestone, $3,500: one (1) custom workflow automation with up to three (3) platform integrations and moderate customization, e.g., dashboard with specific metrics.


Custom Milestone, $5,000: one (1) custom workflow automation with up to five (5) platform integration and advanced customization & features, e.g., a custom user interface, purpose-built dashboard, and report generation.


If your organization requires more than one workflow automation, consider our Guided Pathway option, which bundles multiple workflow automations into a single project.

Will our team be able to maintain the automations after you are done?

Every workflow automation project includes a client dashboard to view your automation health or to update the static elements of your automation (e.g., if the email address for the youth coordinator changes, you can update the youth coordinator email address through your dashboard ... if an automation email is sent three times a week and you need to reduce the email frequency to two times a week, you can update the frequency through your dashboard). Maprios will host the automation and ensure it is running properly.


A structural change to the automation --e.g., add/remove steps to the currently running automation or make enhancements to the workflow (such as send text message in addition to email)-- must be properly designed and tested before it is released for general use. Contact Maprios to arrange a new project.


If your organization wants flexibility to modify or enhance automations, consider our Walking Together option, which may include strategy calls, quarterly workflow adjustments and/or enhancements, and proactive automation review and adjustment whenever your ChMS or software vendor pushes an update.
